Where possible, we recommend that curtains are measured and installed by our professional fitters. However, the following guide should help us to provide you with an accurate quote.
Width: Measure the track width and not the window. The track should extend approximately 15cm (6") beyond each side of your window enabling you to draw the curtains well back during the day.
Length: Curtains are best hung below the sill, to the floor or just above the radiator. Curtains should finish 10-15cm (4-6") below the sill, or 1cm from the floor. Modern designs can be puddled onto the floor.
Measure the point where you want the top of the curtain to be, down to the appropriate point. The length measurement must cover the total curtain length including the chosen heading type.
