Where possible, we recommend that blinds are measured and installed by our professional fitters. However, the following guide should help us to provide you with an accurate quote.
There are two options when fitting a window blind.
Outside
the window recess
This is the easiest way to fit your new blind if curtains
will not be used on the window.
Width: Simply measure the width and depth of the window and add at least 10cm (4").
Drop: The drop length measurement should be from the top of the heading to the bottom of the blind when lowered.
Inside
the window recess
If you wish to use curtains in conjunction
with the blind or you just prefer your blind on the inside of the recess.
Measure the exact recess width and drop.
Consider whether the cord pull is to be to the
left or right of the window.
