Roman
Roman
blinds are useful for windows that have little space for rails/poles outside
the window recess.
They
are usually made in either relaxed or traditional styles. The relaxed
version has one rigid fold at the base, and looks slightly less formal
than the traditional that has rigid folds all the way up.
Roman
blinds can be made from your choice of soft furnishing fabric and can
be fully lined. Fibre rods are inserted within the blind at regular intervals
to ensure that when they are raised the horizontal pleats are kept regular
and straight. They can be fixed at any height using a brass hook, which
should be attached to the wall.
Remember
to choose which side to locate your mechanism.
